“Then This Happened…” is an ongoing webcomic diary series that started as a way to process after finding out my wife had breast cancer. This comic captures a moment from our life each day with honest, relatable moments—the tough days, the small victories, and everything in between. A heartfelt, sometimes humorous chronicle of living through the unexpected.
The beginning of the webcomic. A raw, honest diary about facing breast cancer— the diagnosis, treatment, and finding ways to keep going.
One year post-treatment. By this point, we didn’t just want to go back to our regular daily lives and we struggle to find something more.
Three years in. During this time, I left my job to pursue my passion to be an artist full-time, and then, just a few weeks after that, COVID-19 breaks out.
The pandemic happened right as I left my job and decided to pursue my passion to be an artist full-time. Oddly enough, one of the things I did, kind of worked out.
I have a train car I’m renting to run my online business selling vintage toys and books, the world starts to open up again after covid, and I produce more music and podcasts.
After trouble with a physical storefront I move the vintage store back online. Taking a break from the local art community, I focus on music and tech - which got me an opportunity to go to Europe
