Action! It Figures - Episode 3
In this episode, Dexter tries to formulate a plan to stop the giant plastic action figure from taking over the world. It involves using a rocket he invented that also doubles as playground equipment.
This was my second attempt at making cartoons in Flash. Dexter and I were watching Huckleberry Hound re-runs on DVD and thought we would try something like that.
So we wrote this story, I drew all of this and inked it by hand and scanned it into the computer. But from looking at it, I was still pretty green at cleaning up the art after scanning. I wanted to work more on the drawn in-betweening animation and not relying in the program to do it, to understand more how it worked after it was “shot”.
